NOTES:
Hi everyone! This will be an in person writer's room at our place. 191 Southridge NW.
It is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday Feb 12. It is expected to take a couple of hours.
I am required by law to have to scan the QR code on your vaccine passport. I will only have to do it the one time. If you wish to attend, I will need to see it.
Also, masking will be required and safety protocols will be in place.
Feel free to bring stuff to take notes if you are intending to or I can provide material here if needed. Drinks will be provided as usual.
We will be discussing...
- The remainder of Season one's 4 episodes. This includes planning and developing episode 110, discussing some of the new characters and getting feedback on their development, planning jokes for the contestant tapes as well as that episode, and discussing the remaining spycams we need to come up with for the final episode 113.
- Discussing any extra small scenes or ideas we may want to shoot.
- Basic planning and idea pitching for Out of Order season 1.
- Basic planning and idea pitching for Carbon Dating! season 2.
- Discussing the possibility of a larger project.
- Discussing potential character photo shoot ideas for merchandise like calendars, seasonal cards, etc.
NOTE: As show runner, the final decisions on how to proceed with the direction of everything rests on my shoulders. Do not be offended if I don't take some of your ideas or suggestions. It has nothing to do with favoritism or liking one idea more than the other. There are a lot of factors I consider when making my decisions such as cost, feasibility, time frame, does it fit the show, does it stay true to the characters, is it TOO offensive or will it bring us negative attention, and quite a few other criteria. Also, just because we don't use an idea that is pitched, does not mean that it may not be used in the future. Sometimes the idea is good, but it isn't right for that one instance and may be right for another or we can plan for it. (I have actually done this).
- I will take the opportunity for a preliminary fitting for Chris and Keighla's new characters (assuming the costumes have arrived) Please bring any pieces you want to try out with the outfits.
- We may have a small production meeting after for some of the crew depending how we are for time and who wants to stick around for it to discuss some of the new procedures and to check out some of the new gear.
